Each US jurisdiction needs a competent medical workforce to meet the needs of it’s citizens. However, the requirements for some health care professions are not the same in each jurisdiction. The following is a list of general requirements for licensure by endorsement in Washington D.C.
Passing NCLEX or SBTPE results
Complete application with fee of $230
Two 2x2 passport style photos
US Social Security Number or a completed SSN affidavit
Verification of license from current and original states of licensure
If your state participates in
Your RN license will expire on the 30th of June during even-numbered years. You may renew your license online for $97.
You have several options for fulfilling your continuing competency requirements. You may complete 24 contact hours of continuing education. You may also fulfill the requirements by teaching or by editing or authorship.
