Endorsements

The following is a list of general requirements for licensure by endorsement in Washington D.C.

Your RN license will expire on the 30th of June during even-numbered years. You may renew your license online for $97.

Continuing competency

You have several options for fulfilling your continuing competency requirements. You may complete 24 contact hours of continuing education. You may also fulfill the requirements by teaching or by editing or authorship. Online ACLS recertification in 2-5 hours

ACLS PROVIDER
$175

ACLS provides skills to manage cardiopulmonary arrest or other cardiovascular emergencies, to recognize and manage respiratory arrest, and to provide services in emergency situations.

PALS PROVIDER
$175

PALS is for those who respond to emergencies in children and infants, provide intensive care, emergency medicine, and provide services in critical care units to pediatric patients.

BLS PROVIDER
$65

BLS course provides training for prompt recognition of several life-threatening emergencies, delivering appropriate ventilations, and provision of high-quality chest compressions.
