Each state needs a competent medical workforce to meet the needs of it’s citizens. However, the requirements for some health care professions are not the same in each state. Endorsements

Below are a few of the general requirements for endorsement, link can be found here:

Foreign applicants educated outside of U.S. must have a Professional Report completed by the CGFNS sent to the Board office - Link.

Continuing Competency

You will have to take at least 25 contact hours for renewal. Renewals take place every two years. 1 hour must be in pain and pain symptom management. Click herefor more details.

This state requires nurses to hold current ACLS certification.
